Kaitlin Takaoka
An interdisciplinary artist with an expansive portfolio including water colour; ink, charcoal, and pastel (and sometimes all three together); as well as fibre arts, among others.
From the lower mainland and now living in “vancouver” proper, Kaitlin has created and studied arts for over a decade. She studied fine arts locally at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and continued expanding her practice at the Nova Scotia School of Art and Design, before, like a true artist, she departed school to pursue her creativity outside the confines of a curriculum.
Kaitlin continues to expand her practice by testing out new mediums as a means of processing and living amongst the world around her.
